The Studio. The more you do this job, the more you realise there are no rules. Sure, the broadcasters want to see a certain technical level, but how you get there is open ground. Studio’s are a place to experiment. SoundEngine has a purpose built and designed studio, just the space to do exactly that.

The studio is based around a Pro-Tools HD digital editing, mixing system. Geoff has been using this software for nearly twenty years. He knows it.

We also employ a Digidesign automated control surface to make mixing quicker and more flexible for you. Performances are captured professionally in the acoustically treated studio. Producers and performers have complete eye and voice contact during the recording.

Although vision is non-linear, the system can be locked to Digital Betacam, allowing you to walk out with completed master. The reception area is large and comfortable for you and your clients or guests, and the coffee is pretty good too!
