My good associate Greg from Take2 who has a studio upstairs, needed a guitar track for this TVC. His client had a temp track in place which was a bit of a swampy, southern USA style. It worked okay, but didn’t really say ‘Australia’. Greg asked if I could quickly come up with something, so I wandered up with my acoustic guitar and ran a few things past him. We settled on a chord progression, created a click track to play to and double tracked the guitar. All done in about twenty minutes. The client liked it, so it was made final.
